Dr. Parker is a Colon & Rectal (Colorectal) Surgeon within the Middlesex Health Surgical Alliance in Middletown, Connecticut. His interest is in the minimally invasive approach to colon and rectal surgery, including colectomy (colon resection), proctectomy (rectal resection), rectopexy (for rectal prolapse), and TAMIS (TransAnal Minimally Invasive Surgery). Dr. Parker completed an accredited colorectal fellowship at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to this, Dr. Parker completed fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL with focus on hernia repair and gastrointestinal surgery.
Dr. Parker completed his residency in General Surgery at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. He graduated from the Rutgers University - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ. His undergraduate degree is from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY.
Currently, Dr. Parker lives in Middletown, CT with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs.
